Attendance: e-Learning:

Students not attending the mandatory distance learning orientation class meeting (unless prior arrangement is made with the instructor) on August 27 are subject to “WNA” final grades for "No Show". The HCC Purge (WNA) roll is submitted by Seprember 14. If not submitted for WNA by the instructor, the strudent must withdraw by the deadline in November 1, other the final grade will be F.

There may be a Final Class meeting Saturday December 10. The Final Exam and/or Scavenger Hunt may be conducted in class on that day, but may at the decresion of the instructor be online the last week of December 2-11.

Attendance: Campus Classes:

he campus classes have at least 30 regular two day a week meetings, which earns the students 10 points per class attended. The final exam will be administered as scheduled. The final class meeting attended is worth 50 points for 350 total points for attendance. The student must sign the class roll to earn the attendance points. At any time during the course, the student may switch to the distance learning class, the 50-50 class, but must have the permission of the instructor to switch.

The students registered for the 50-50 hybrid/blended class are expected to attend once a week. Signing this roll earns the student 20 points per class. The final exam for the final class period. This class counts 50 points for 350 total attendance points.

Synchronous Attendance:

he instructor may hold weekly sessions on the Internet via WebCT whiteboard or the InterwiseTM teaching platform. The outline of the session will be sent via group email at least two days prior to the session. These sessions will be in the evening slot on Tuesday or Thursday nights or Saturday/Sunday daytime. If Interwise is used, a student absent from a session may watch a recording of the session for up to one week after the broadcast. Whiteboard sessions are nor recorded for later playback.
