Favorite Web Sites:  

The student will place Bookmarks or Favorites at his/her favorite Web Sites. The student should visit a minimum of 200 Web sites during the course. Every two weeks the students will share with the class a group email of the best sites visited: informational/entertainment sites, the best
e-commerce sites and best resource/educational sites visited in the previous two weeks with a brief description of the site.

At the end of the course, the student will include a list of his/her 5 most favorite sites in each of the above three categories as hyperlinks on the student’s home page. The student should set up favorites in at least five groups on his her Favorites web Page on his/her About Me Web Site Project.

The student estimates the total number of web sites visited during the course. This surfing project is worth 100 points for completion as long as the listing on the students Favorites web page is completed and sending the final group email of the five best sites visitied in the first three catagories above.

Web Site Survey:

The student may vote at the end of the course on the best sites visited during the course in each of the first three catagories above. In addition to posting on his/her web page project the best in the categories above, the student may (if available) complete rating forms on the best and worst of each category. If the rating forms are not available, then in the final group email each student will list their top 5 in each category with URLs that they have posted on their web page project. The student may receive up to 100 points for the completion of the voting forms if available.
