y the end of the second week, the instructor will send a group email to all the students in the class. For 75 additional points the student will add all the class members and the instructor to his/her address book, setup a group mail in the address book, and send a group email to everyone in the class and Taylor’s two email addresses. Subject of this first group email: 55e: Group Email. In the body of the email, please introduce yourself to the class. Section 3.13 of the text describes how to setup you address book.

During the course the students will send weekly group emails to all class members and the instructor for 25 points each. These group emails will include the URL’s of the best web sites found during the weekly surfing period (from bookmarks or favorite sites) subdivided into the following categories: Educational, Entertainment, Informational, on-line E-Commerce; results of some searches; the criteria for your community college research project; results from your reading including URLs; and anything that is of interest to the class. The body of the email must include information useful to the class. Simply saying Hi because you have to is not worth any points for this assignment. We are an online learning community.

All email to the instructor MUST include the two digit code (55e )to begin the subject of the email. Be descriptive after the code to explain the content. Without the code the instructor will delete the email. Subjectless emails will also be deleted.
